Solitary
thalli may form small colonies, erect and moderately calcified, cylindricat-clavate,
11 - 19 mm tall, 1.7 - 2.4 mm broad ending in hairy apex; colour whitish-greenish
at lower portion becoming dark to bright green at hairy tip; central
axis bears closely placed whorls of lateral compound branches; each
lateral consists of a cylindrical, slender primary branches bearing
at its expanded distal end a central stalked, spherical oval gamatangium
and two lateral (one on each side) secondary branches terminating
ina peltate-capitate structure which appears haxagonal in surface
view.
